Accessibility

Logo des Projekts BIK - Prüfzeichen 90plus

The pages of the knowledge platform were designed to be barrier-free. This relates to the content as well as navigation around the Prevention Forum+.
In August 2014 an independent test by the BIK (BITV Test) was implemented to verify accessibility. The test outcome was 93,25 out of a possible 100 points; thus the present website is entitled to a place on the list of 90+ websites.
The test is based on Barrier-Free Information Technology legislation (Verordnung für barrierefreie Informationstechnik, BITV). The test criteria included:

  • Reading out loud, and linear usability:
  • variable and clear representation:
  • Conformity to standards, separation of content and representation;
  • Keyboard operation;
  • Ease of orientation and navigation.

The BITV Test was developed by the BIK Project (“Barrierefrei informieren und kommunizieren:” “informing and communicating without barriers”), which is sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.
Please note that Prevention Forum+ is a search engine. Regrettably, we have no influence on the accessibility of individual hits.
